Hello, my name is Kathie. Since my teenage years I’ve always enjoyed photography but only took photos at family events and outings, using a variety of cameras over the years, including a Pentax SLR, Nikon Coolpix and Kodak EasyShare.  Late 2008 that enjoyment became a passion when I received my first DSLR, a Nikon D90.

My interests in photography mainly cover the things of nature but I also have an interest in sporting events, particularly MTB (Mountain Biking). This may be due to the fact that my husband is a mountain biker and participates in many races.

My husband and I live in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges in Victoria Australia and many photos you find here will have been taken in my own backyard or very nearby.
